In the app
- Open the You tab and tap the gear icon for Settings.
- Tap Delete Account, then Delete My Account.
- Tick I understand that this action is permanent and cannot be undone, then tap Yes, Delete My Account.
Your account and its data are deleted straight away. Uninstalling the app does not delete them.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it's done.
What we delete
- Your account: email address, display name, and its link to Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Your saved places, lists and the lists you follow.
- Your reviews and the photos you uploaded, including photos shown on venue pages.
- Places you added that are still waiting for review, your reports, check answers and feedback.
A place you added that we approved stays on the map, without your name.
What we keep, and for how long
- Usage analytics: app interactions tied to your account ID, kept for 12–18 months.
- Backups: may hold your data for 30–90 days after deletion, for disaster recovery only.
We keep data longer only if the law requires it. Our Privacy Policy (section 5) has the details.
