Yakumo Honten
Yakumo Honten serves traditional Japanese soba with a vegan base made from seaweed and mushrooms topped with nori, shredded radish, green onions, and grated yam. Most other soba bases contain fish flakes, but the vegan option is clearly marked and quite filling. Vegetable-only tempura is available upon request, though it may be cooked in shared oil with shrimp—be cautious if strict veganism is required.
